NPD Light Haulage, Accredited and Professional

Our Accreditations
NPD Light Haulage are FORS Gold accredited as well as maintaing FORS Bronze and FORS Silver complience. This demonstrates our commitment to improving overall fleet safety and environmental impact and efficiency.
By achieving FORS Gold, NPD Light Haulage became one of only 50 general hauliers in the UK to gain Gold accreditation.
To achieve FORS accreditation, operators must commit to monitoring levels of fuel, safety and fines and charges, ensure their entire fleet is fitted with additional vehicle safety equipment and implement an approved, progressive driver training programme that focuses on the safety of vulnerable road users. All our vehicles are fitted with beacons and strobe lights, relevant signage, additional blind spot minimisation mirrors, front and rear facing cameras, white noise reversing alarms and fall protection. All of our drivers and office staff have completed the Vulnerable Road User Training module and Work Related Road Risk course, which we found informative and a very worthwhile experience. Safety of our employee’s and other road users is of primary importance to us as an organisation.
A very important part of the scheme is the regular review process of current practices and to strive for continual improvement in relation to our safety procedures. We have found that the majority of sites requesting FORS accredited hauliers are located in central London, but we have delivered to sites requiring our FORS Gold certification throughout the UK. This accreditation also allows us to deliver to sites that require CLOCS registered companies.
Craig Barber, Managing Director at NPD Light Haulage, said: “The FORS Gold accreditation is a great coup for us.
It sends out a strong signal to our customers and competitors that we are committed to improving the safety of our fleet, staff and the general public.”
